The ride on Hogwarts Express was quite uneventful for Rose Weasley
and Albus Potter. Victoire came in to say hello to Rose and Albus, then
went back to her friend's compartment. Rose and Albus discussed what
house they would be in, Albus expressing his worry about Slytherin.
"Don't worry Al. Even if you are in Slytherin, it wouldn't be so bad. I heard they had the biggest Common Room of all the houses and before your dad came to Hogwarts they won the Quidditch Cup and the House Cup three years in a row! Plus they're not all bad or else your dad wouldn't have named you after one, right?" Rose said, talking very fast.
"Yeah I - wait, how did you know my middle name was a Slytherin's name?" Albus asked.
"Well, Severus Snape was in Headmasters of Hogwarts: A Study and Great War Hero's of the 20th Century" Rose explained rolling her eyes.
"You read to much." Albus told his cousin shaking his head.
"What are you guys talking about?" a boy with blonde hair, gray eyes, and a pointed chin demanded.
"Severus Snape and the Slytherin Common Room. Why?" Rose asked the boy.
"You're a Weasley and you're a Potter…why would you be talking about the Slytherin Common Room? You're both going in Gryffindor." the boy said.
"We were just discussing the houses and the topic came up." Rose explained. "Hold up! How do you know our last names? We don't know you." Albus said.
"You look just like your father, and I know you're a Weasley because of the red hair. Nobody else could possibly have that shade." the boy said, his face contorting in revulsion.
"We do know who he is, Al. He's Scorpius Malfoy. I heard our fathers talking about him in the station." Rose explained impatiently at the look on his face.
"Malfoy, Malfoy…oh! His father's the ungrateful bastard from your dad's old stories!" Albus said after Scorpius had left.
"Yeah. Well, you better get your robes on, we'll be there soon." Rose said, looking out the window.
